Grocery Home Delivery Program

Grocery Home Delivery Program

The Home Delivery Program is a collaboration among the Akron/Canton Foodbank, DoorDash, and the Peter Maurin Center. We work together to provide grocery delivery to households who are not able to go to a local food pantry in person.

The Home Deliver Program increases food access to families experiencing transportation barriers. Home Delivery participants receive a bi-weekly delivery of 25-35 pounds of fresh and shelf-stable groceries per delivery.

Households must meet current eligibility guidelines and residewithin a 10-mile radius of a participating pantry. Participants are responsiblefor completing an enrollment form in Summit Country by contacting the Foodbankat 330-777-1067.  Do not call the PeterMaurin Center.
